Indian Air Force, IAF, offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from all the Districts of States of Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura to become airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades will be held at Golaghat Disrict Sports Association Complex (GDSA), Golaghat (Assam) from 21 October 2013 to 23 October 2013 as per the Selection Programme. post : Airmen Technical
Airmen Group ‘X’ Technical :
No of post : As per IAF HQ Demands
Age Limit : Not to exceed 18 to 20 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 22410/- Per Month.
Essential Qualification & Experience :
(a) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
(b) Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma.
MEDICAL STANDARDS : General Medical Standards for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades are as follows:
(i) Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cms.
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm.
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable.
(v) Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vii) Health: Candidates should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidates must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of world, in any climate and terrain.
